Many ophthalmologists are also involved in scientific research on the causes and cures for eye diseases and vision disorders.
Some Ophthalmologists further pursues training called fellowship in their preferred subspecialty area such as retina, glaucoma, cornea, pediatrics, neurology, and plastic surgery.

1. We will start accepting appointments, so we can better institue safe distancing. Please arrive 15 min before appointed time. If you are late, we may entertain the next patient.

3. If you have cough, colds, fever, muscle pain, loss of smell, please see your internist and reschedule your appointment after 5 days.
4. When examining you at the slit lamp, we will limit talking.
5. If scheduled for major surgery eg cataract, retina, or glaucoma surgery, no need for PCR testing if fully vaccinated. If need to undergo general anesthesia, we may require negative PCR.
